Terms of Service

Agreement

By accessing or using banana-analytics.com and the Community & Environmental Health Intelligence platform (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. The Service is operated by Banana Analytics PBC (“Banana,” “we,” “us”).

The Service

Banana provides county-level environmental health intelligence by fusing publicly available data from federal agencies (EPA, CDC, CMS, Census Bureau, USGS, NOAA, NCI, and others) into composite scores, trend analyses, and strategic reports. The Service is provided for informational and planning purposes.

Accounts

Some features require a free account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating an account. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans (Professional, Enterprise) are billed through Stripe. Professional subscriptions are billed annually. You may cancel at any time. Access continues through the end of the paid period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Prices may change with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically download the data
• Redistribute reports or data commercially without attribution
• Misrepresent the Service's outputs as medical, legal, or financial advice
• Interfere with the Service's operation or infrastructure

Data and accuracy

The Service displays and analyzes publicly available data from government agencies. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of this data. Composite scores are model-based estimates, not direct measurements. Correlations between environmental factors and health outcomes do not establish causation.

Reports generated by the Service are provided for informational purposes and do not constitute medical, public health, legal, or financial advice. Users should independently verify data before making decisions based on it.

Intellectual property

The underlying public data is not proprietary; it belongs to the respective government agencies. Banana's composite scoring methodology, report formats, compound signal algorithms, and platform design are proprietary. Reports you generate are yours to use, share, and publish with attribution to Banana Analytics as the data source.

Limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Banana Analytics PBC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
