What is it?
A pattern where a county scores worse than 70% of U.S. counties on multiple major health-risk dimensions at the same time: environmental exposure, chronic disease, healthcare access, and social and economic conditions.
Why it matters
Communities where multiple risks are elevated together typically need different interventions than communities where one dimension dominates. Convergence identifies where coordinated, multi-dimensional response is the right strategy.
