Why we publish. Posting our bands is the point. You can see what you would pay before scheduling anything.

Access Should Not Depend on Budget

The organizations doing the hardest work in the most under-resourced communities are often the ones least able to afford the tools they need. We do not think that should determine whether they get access to environmental health intelligence.

If your organization serves underserved populations and a paid license is genuinely out of reach, contact us. We will provide Professional or Studio access at no cost. No lengthy application. No strings. Just a conversation about the work you are doing.

This is not a promotional offer. It is a structural commitment, the same way our PBC incorporation and 1% for the Planet pledge are structural commitments. Revenue from paid licenses funds the platform. This commitment ensures the platform reaches the communities it was built for.

Frequently asked questions

Why is the Community tier free?

Because exploring environmental and community health data should not require a budget. The Community tier gives anyone access to county-level environmental health profiles, health outcomes, SDOH data, and demographic composition for all 3,222 US counties. Paid tiers add comparison tools, reports, and strategic intelligence for organizations that need to act on the data.

Why pay annual?

Annual prepay saves you two months of subscription cost (Pro: $990 vs $1,188; Studio: $2,990 vs $3,588). It also lets you expense the full year in one transaction, which most consulting practices and hospital community-benefit departments prefer. Cancel any time mid-year and we will pro-rate the refund.

What does Consultant Studio actually replace?

The AI-drafted cohort summary PDFs alone replace roughly 20-40 billable hours of analyst work per CHNA. Studio includes 40 of those per month plus 8 larger cohort summaries (10+ counties), the Canvas authoring workspace with AI assistant, custom service-area builder, and adjustable service-line weights. One CHNA engagement typically bills $15K-$60K, so the tier pays for itself in the first deliverable.

What if I exceed my monthly summary allotment?

Studio includes 40 small + 8 large summaries per month. If you regularly run more than that, contact us and we will discuss either moving you to Enterprise (which has a higher pooled annual allowance) or an account-level cap lift. We do not auto-bill overages.

Why publish Enterprise bands instead of 'contact for a quote'?

Because every other CHNA analytics vendor gates Enterprise behind a 'discovery call' and a multi-week sales cycle. We think that is hostile to buyers. Publishing the bands means a hospital community-benefit director can see what they would pay before scheduling anything, get internal approval at their discretion, and reach out only when they are ready to subscribe.

What data sources do you use?

73 extractors pull from 10 federal data foundations: EPA AQS, EPA TRI, EPA UCMR5/ECHO (PFAS), EPA EJSCREEN, USGS PNSP, CDC PLACES, CDC WONDER, CDC Environmental Public Health Tracking, CMS NPPES, CMS Geographic Variation, NCI State Cancer Profiles, Census ACS, County Health Rankings, and NOAA climate data. 104 metrics are surfaced to the platform. Every report includes a methodology page with full citations.

What if my organization cannot afford a license?
