Access Should Not Depend on Budget
The organizations doing the hardest work in the most under-resourced communities are often the ones least able to afford the tools they need. We do not think that should determine whether they get access to environmental health intelligence.
If your organization serves underserved populations and a Professional license is genuinely out of reach, contact us. We will provide full Professional-tier access at no cost. No lengthy application. No strings. Just a conversation about the work you are doing.
This is not a promotional offer. It is a structural commitment, the same way our PBC incorporation and 1% for the Planet pledge are structural commitments. Revenue from paid licenses funds the platform. This commitment ensures the platform reaches the communities it was built for.
Frequently asked questions
Why is the Community tier free?
Because exploring environmental and community health data should not require a budget. The Community tier gives anyone access to county-level environmental health profiles, health outcomes, SDOH data, and demographic composition for all 3,222 US counties. Paid tiers add comparison tools, reports, and strategic intelligence for organizations that need to act on the data.
What data sources do you use?
73 extractors pull from 10 federal data foundations: EPA AQS, EPA TRI, EPA UCMR5/ECHO (PFAS), EPA EJSCREEN, USGS PNSP, CDC PLACES, CDC WONDER, CDC Environmental Public Health Tracking, CMS NPPES, CMS Geographic Variation, NCI State Cancer Profiles, Census ACS, County Health Rankings, and NOAA climate data. 104 metrics are surfaced to the platform. Every report includes a methodology page with full citations.
Are reports actually editable?
Yes. Word documents are fully editable in Microsoft Word, Google Docs, and Pages. PDFs are print-ready and include the same data, charts, trend analysis, and methodology.
How is this different from County Health Rankings?
County Health Rankings publishes individual indicators. We fuse environmental, health outcomes, mortality, cancer incidence, provider supply, and social determinants into unified scores so you can see where multiple risks converge. We also provide compound signal detection, service line opportunity scoring, multi-county comparison, trend analysis, and consultant-ready reports with strategic recommendations.
What if my organization cannot afford a license?
Contact us. If your organization serves underserved populations and a paid license is out of reach, we provide Professional-tier access at no cost. It is part of how we are built.
